Celtic Connections

We will be performing at the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for the first time! 

We will have the pleasure of playing again with our Scottish friends Old Blind Dogs!

Building on a previous collaboration in 2019, we will perform individual sets, before teaming up for a grand joint finale.

Livestream – Hands Up for Trad – International Make Music Day – 21 june

Join Hands Up for Trad to celebrate Make Music Day this Monday 21st June 2-6pm (BST) with an international lineup of musicians. Joining us live will be acts from Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Spain. Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Iceland all hosted by the inimitable Joy Dunlop. Music will start at 2pm and finish at 6pm.

Startijenn will be performing at Hands Up for Trad’s International Make Music Day on Monday 21st June at 15:20 (BST time) live from Ceili pub in Quimper (Brittany)

TV live concert 31/12/2020

We had the great pleasure to play on stage in Rennes at the “Parquet de Bal” for a live concert. It will be broadcast on December 31 on the TV channelsTV Rennes, Tébéo, Tébésud.

Startijenn is the band introduced this week as part of Global Music Match.

Here is a new video of Startijenn, which we hope will inspire to know more about our band and Breton music.

Global Music Match is a social media venture involving 13 music export organisations from around the globe working in the genres of folk, world, roots music, who will present some of the best and most interesting artists of their country.
